1998 Ritchey Soft Tail  

The Ritchey Soft Tail uses the Moots YBB (whY Be Beat) suspension design.  This design uses a short travel coil spring housed within the frame and relies on the flexing of the chain stays to provide the 1" of travel.  the frame does not use pivots.  The result is a bike that is designed to just take the edge off the bumps.
