1987 Gary Fisher Montare

Back Home Up Next

This Montare was sold on 8/5/87 and retailed for $830 + tax.  Still wasn't quite a "budget" bike but it was about half the price of a fillet brazed bike from a small builder.  The idea behind the Montare was to offer a lesser expensive TIG welded imported frame with Deore XT components.  I wish that all of the bikes the we got in were in this condition!!  Very light use on this one.
